JR White Park on Holland Road is in need of safety upgrades and new equipment to meet the growing population. The total cost of materials is approximately $40,000.

Sponsor a Picket program
To bring community spirit to our park we are offering to engrave names or sayings on the picket fence that will be added to the park. This is a great way to honor your children or another loved one, remember someone who has passed away, display your family name, business name, or even a pet's name. Your name or saying can be engraved for a minimum $50 tax-deductible donation. You may choose one line of up to 18 characters, or 2 lines up to 13 characters each. Spaces are included in these limits. The children of our community thank you for helping to provide them with a safe and fun atmosphere to play in.

Equipment Sponsorship levels
To facilitate the fundraising we have developed several levels of tax-deductible contributions. Of course, any amount will be welcomed. Your generous gift will be commemorated on a plaque or picket in the appropriate area of the playground based on the levels listed below. This will serve as a wonderful message to the community of your concern for the safety and well-being of our children.

• $500 or above donation will sponsor the large play structure
• $250 - $499 donation will sponsor the new toddler area
• $150 - $249 donation will sponsor the new rock climbing wall
• $ 50 - $99 donation will sponsor one picket on our new fence

Our plan for improvement

• Removal of unsafe large metal slide, teeter totters and monkey bars
• Installation of a new large play structure which features 2 large slides, monkey bars, climbing wall and various climbing equipment
• Installation of a new large rock climbing wall
• Installation of a new toddler play area with toddler sized play structure
• Installation of a new balance beam
• Installation of new ground surfacing in play areas (Mulch and edging)
• No more mud holes!
